During the storage, the only parts that I lost were a rubber exhaust hanger, and a metal gas tank strap (rusted off). I think the thing to be most concerned with are rubber vac lines, door seals, etc. I treat all the door seals with Vinylex before storage and switched out all my rubber vac lines to Forge silicone while the car was in my garage. Oh and I started it and drove it up and down my driveway probably once every week or two.
Make sure you use STABIL or some other gas stabilizer. Also, I always pulled the fuel pump fuse and let it crank for a bit before starting to get the oil pressure going.
What do you do to prevent mice/rodents from getting in while it's in storage? I cover the tailpipe with foil, put mothballs in the engine bay and red pepper flakes in bowls in the interior. My 9k still kinda smells like mothballs though...I'd rather not have my 9-3 smell the same when I take it out in the Spring.
