Roll resistance is a function of vehicle mass, where the center of mass is located (lower or higher up on the vehicle), the width between the tires / track (all things being equal, a narrow car with a high center of mass will roll easier than a wide track car with a low center of mass), the sideways friction coefficient of the tires and the road surface, the ability of the tire sidewall to resist lateral forces, and the sideways velocity of the vehicle.
