thought that he would get the ABS unit replaced under warranty or you were trying to weasel out of fixing his car ?i have a few odd home repair stories of saab owners who gave up fixing their car and brought the car to the shop where i worked.
a 99 with the firewall chopped out to get at the timing chain.
a 900 with the front of the trans apart to get the clutch out.
another 900 4dr. with the apc unit cut out in order to replace it with a radio amp.
whats odd is this was all done before we had internet,i dont see this type of thing anymore.it must have something to do with men not wanting to ask for help ?because i think each owner could have done the job if they had just asked how first .
