It was indeed a power connector needed to be attached on the motherboard. The main connector was hooked on correctly, but there was another connection on the motherboard, 4x2 pins. What I ended up doing was plugging a 2x2 connection from the power supply to half of the 4x2 block on the motherboard. The strange thing was, the manual said something to the effect of: don't plug anything into the 4x2 if youre using a 2x24 in the main socket. It did have a pin-out chart of the 4x2 slot, and it matches the ground/ground/12v/12v of the 2x2 auxiliary cable. Glad this is done with. BTW, I did get a new power supply. I ended up using that for the SATA hard drive supply. Silly me, I thought SATA hard drives were powered off the motherboard. Yeah, its been a while since I messed with computers. Thanks again for the help everyone.
