This is a few years back but I had this client who had a high zoot Z28 and we used to talk cars a lot. He knew I had a Saab (9000 at the time) and I had to be a little diplomatic, but we sort of agreed to disagree. So I come in one Monday and he's all in a lather, he'd been to a track day deal and he's out there and this Volvo 850 is on his ass lap after lap and he just can't shake the guy. Finally they have to pull in and it turns out it's a (his desciption) "g*d d*mn wagon with four guys in it." He gave me a little more detail and turns out it was a T5 or whatever the top Volvo was at the time. For the first time I could see the wheels turning and him considering the possibility that a domestic V8 might not be the end all and be all.
