Sounds like a lot of aggrivation to me. Seriously..Ive owned 6 different Saab models, the 96 v4 being the best in the snow by far if I recall correctly, but also have a 14 yr old slightly banged up and rusty Impreza shoed with snows that is absolutely unstoppable in any weather. I love my Saabs and despite their frigid country of origin there is no comparison to a Subaru as a winter machine. I could literally heat my lunch from the Sube's heater it's so hot, painfully hot if left on high..the Saabs heater is mediocre at best. I never have to question whether Ill make that hill or if I have to stop on a hill will I be able to start again, or is the snow too deep conversation in my head. It's point and go and it just goes. Really quite amazing if youve never driven one. A few years back on xmas eve I was driving in I don't know exactly how much snow, but I kid you not that it was billowing up over the front of the car like an ocean wave. It sounds and drives a bit like a tractor, but I love it for what it was built for. Only thing it's missing is heated seats and mirrors, but the newer ones probably have that covered. One last note, some models actually have the base of the windshields heated so the wipers don't stick. Brilliant.
