Nothing "wrong" with the heaters, and like I said ive owned 6,including a 919kt, who's heater was similr to my current 5spd GF sport wagon, in which the heater set at 80 degrees F sounds like I'm sitting next to very large forced air heat duct for the home until the car finally warms up 20 to 30 minutes later. Maybe a thermostat issue. The Subaru has four snows and higher ground clearance, scorching heat in 10 or 15 minutes, relatively poor braking and handling with the skinny flexing snows but I also don't expect it to be a Saab. Therefore I don't expect my Saab to be a Subaru either. It stays parked if theres anything more than a dusting to an inch, which here in upstate NY there's definitely been a whole lot more than that this year. Credit where credit is due. I hope your not one of those folks that would remind a very expensive semi-exotic class Porsche,Ferrari,Mercedes,BMW,Audi etc. owner that your Saab may be faster from 50-70mph on the highway than their 400 horsepower 100K+ exotic.
