To a linux/samba file server in my detached garage. Backed up and safe from house fire or house surge/lighting. I use superflexible.com's backup software from my house computer. It's nicer than synctoy.
A network attached storage system would provide similar functionality.
But I also run 1-wire file system and have a humidity and temp sensor in my garage. I record those things and put them on my website so I can keep an eye on things and start a humidifier or can tell if someone used the garage door. As you see on Sunday, the temp and humidity changed because we had the garage doors opened for an hour or so.
