I certainly agree that affordability is relative which is why I had put it in quotes. My comments were more in response to people's reactions to the "high" Saab sticker prices. "High" Saab sticker prices are really nothing new.
Also, the generous incentives, leasing, financing deals/terms/etc. of the last decade or so have made new Saabs even more "affordable." Of course, other new cars have become more affordable too so I guess even that is relative.
There may be a lot to complain about in today's economic environment but "high(er) new car prices" doesn’t seem to be one of them.
Used Saabs are more "affordable" today too.
