how about torched pipe (while heat sinking the sawed off o2 stub), solid (not flimsy o2) 6 point socket on 5' of pipe + breaker bar, all after days of soaking it in (various) penetrating oil(s)?
I haven't (yet) dropped it + put it in a vice because I'm concerned about breaking studs (+ opening that can of worms), + the exhaust is custom welded end to end + in decent shape but lots of rust around the o2 bung: 22 year old c900 exposed annually to salty winters... apparently the original o2 sensor!
I'm on to brain surgery now... John Meyers is chuckling I'm sure ;-)... a pro would have had this off pretty easily, and this is one of those times I should have taken it in... live + learn...
