And why would you have to replace the HDD in your PC???

It's kind of like saying a crappy engine in a car is better than a really good engine (say Chevy vs. SAAB). But since the crappy engine manufacturer sells there engines everywhere and they can be replaced easily, they are better than the good engine that may run for hundreds of thousands of miles, but aren't as readily available and you may have to find a specialty shop and wait a little bit for the repair.

Maybe not getting my point across, it's late and I've had a glass or two of the vino, but PC's are trash and built to be disposable. Hence why you can buy them starting around $400. An Apple is work of art in function and form.
