I don't know what you drove but the Toyota drove quite nicely. My son has a new top of the line Honda Odessey. In fit, finish, materials and feel it's like an Audi. And he gets over 30 mpg on the highway with it. When I got the Toyota I was prepared to sort of hold my nose and tolerate it since we couldn't bring four kids any other way. After four days with the grandkids it just plain won me over with how easy it made everything. Even seemingly silly sounding things like the electric side doors made perfect sense after a very short time. My wife and I were laughing about it the whole time we had it--we kept saying "I want one of these." And our kids are all grown up! It was hard but I finally had to admit that my hatred of minivans was completely irrational and baseless. I don't need one but if I did I'd take a serious look at one.
