high risk funds yield big capitol and also lose big capitol, the med risk funds yield some what of a capitol gain as its loss and tend to yield less than ok dividends, low risk funds move very slowly in capitol gain but more or less yield decent dividends,.. but just between you and me the capitol i can gain off a high risk fund far out weighs the dividend i would gain off a low risk. reason for low risk funds are for people that want to feel safe with their money, ever so slowly moving. me i kind of like losing 5 or 10 grand and the next month getting it all back plus some,.. its quite a ride!! your 4 popular funds you talk about are 4 popular low risk funds because if it where high risk funds you would either be in here screaming your head off on how much you just lost or screaming how much you just made.
i will dump a ton of cash in a fund nobody heard of make a (it ton of cash) and pull out and pay the 49.99 redemption and be happy walking away with the profit i made off it in a few weeks or month how ever long it takes to get my pockets fat,.. i look at the stock market as my personal piggy bank, what a gr8 this it is :))
