I spend $500+ just on my commute to work every month in my 9-5 Aero. Gas is $4 a gallon currently here and probably going to get worse. Im thinking of getting a motorcycle here in CT. There is a safety course where in a 8 hour class on a Saturday I can walk out with my license. The 50+ mpg for the average bike is really appealing.

Any one ride on here and have any suggestions for a beginner bike?
