I agree 100%. A new 9-3 that is truly unique is what is needed. The SPG + c900 vert are icons. Honestly, the size difference between the 9-3ss and og9-5 is so small, they could probably build any combination of 3-door hatch, 5-door hatch, vert, sedan, and wagon (even cuv?) on that scale of platform and fill the needs of many... I believe that was the plan for phoenix... but to me, a truly unique/iconic SPG inspired hatch (and vert) is key to success.
