We have owned a front load LG washer and dryer for 5 years now. Been great except for one thing....the washer is on our second floor and because of the truss construction of our house, you have to run it on low spin speed to keep from nasty vibrations. All on the newer front loads seem to have the drums suspended better and better vibration reduction, but I'm not sure I'd get a front load again. I've tried 3 different types of vibration blocks, and even put an additional 3/4" plywood floor down all which helped, but you still can't run the spin on full speed.
