dryers are so simple. change the belt, put in some new rollers for the tub. Maybe a new squirrel cage fan.....$100 worth of parts. Our Maytag is 25 years old and just keeps running and is SO easy to fix.
Same with the washer. You need those old reliable mechanical timers.....NOT the new electronic junk.
I will be fixing my Maytags forever!!!
All my kids have had trouble with their new washers and dryers. Forget the new stuff.
Unless you are used to showing of your new appliances to your friends!!!! We just keep the laundry room door closed!
