any high performance vehicle should have its own rules. There could be laws for cars that accelerate fast, others for ones that handle really well, still others for ones with exceptional brakes. How about one that says a car can be driven at any time at no more than 75% of its top speed? That way guys in ZO6 Corvettes and Porsche GT-3s could run at 145 or so without getting tickets. That'd be real safe.
And just because a vehicle accelerates faster, corners better, etc., doesn't mean a thing if something unexpected happens. Tell me how being able accelerate from 30 to 90 to pass a line of cars on a double yellow line works when the third car from the front suddenly turns left in front of you without signaling. I've seen lots of idiots on sport bikes, crotch rockets, whatever you want to call them, do seriously dumb stuff and always wonder how long it will be before he's an organ donor.
Between the Harley loud pipes guys and the bozos hooning around on sport bikes, it's no wonder a lot of people don't like motorcyclists.
