I guess you never exceed the posted speed limit, always come to a complete stop behind the stop sign, etc.?
So anybody that exceeds the speed limit or rolls through a stop sign is destined to "one outcome", and their action results in their death?
I don't believe things to be that black and white, I find life full of shades of grey.
Or are you presenting the hypothesis that disobeying some traffic laws have become the "normally-accepted rule"? Who has decided what is now normally accepted, the users? And 99% of these users are cagers. Get a group that is 99% riders, and they'll have a different set of "normally-accepted rules".
Their's isn't (necessarily) based upon an alternate universe, or some death wish, but rather on what a lifetime (in some cases, at least mine, as at 55, I'm certainly no kid) of riding experience has demonstrated.
If you go back and reread my first post, I'm certainly not condoning the action of GFW3's bad biker, nor that of sizeable percentange of sport-riders.
