Each morning on the ride to work on a moderately traveled rural road, this is a one lane each way with spotty passing zones through residential and business areas, 30, 45 and 55 limits in various areas...there is an almost comical, if he wasn't so reckless, motorcyclist. The stretch of road that we and many others travel is about 10 miles, then I turn off and he continues. I have been "entertained" by this fellow all summer, I think he is a bit mentally unstable. From the point he joins the traffic flow until I turn off , he will pass every single car every single day regardless of double yellow or speed zone. That in itself is dangerous to him and others, since he is piloting a 600lb missle. My real problem with him is that when he passes, he comes up real close at speed and hugs the side of my car,not just mine but everyone's. He must have a death wish. I am amazed at what easy pickins he is for cops, but has yet to be noticed. I had the opportunity to pull up along side him the other day at a light while I was making a right and he going straight. I looked him in the eye and just stared...if we could have conversed I would have waited for him to ask what my problem was, and I would have said " I just wanted to see what you look like before your road pizza " My question is should I MYOB or speak with the local cops, he would be an easy catch, same routine everyday. I just can't believe he has lasted all summer. He gives responsible riders a real bad name.
