This SAE plug is very common. You can probably buy a pigtail at any auto-parts store.
Secure to a standard solid box cover, plastic or metal, creating your own hole. Actually, looking at it, maybe it would slip right through a standard light switch cover plate.
If you want, you can install a low-voltage slip-in box (has no back) in your wall, mount the cover to that.
