Who is going to write the algorithms, and what criteria will they use.

A driverless car is on a bridge, when the group of children playing on the side suddenly fall (or jump) in front of the car, what does it do. Kill the child, or veer off the bridge and kill you. No doubt the decision will be made more quickly than a human can make it, but is it the correct decision. The human has a moral choice to make, the car not so much.
