I'm not sure exactly what constitutes the "best" price, but the left-over 2014 will certainly be a lower price than the brand new 2015.
Buying at the end of the model year (or mid-yr change) will drop the price some.
Buying at the end of the month might drop the price some.
I don't necessarily agree with rick's advice to call multiple dealers. If the dealer is 200 miles away, maybe he'd understand your limited ability to show up, but if just across town, it seems like the dealer wouldn't put too much effort into a phone solicitation.
There are plenty of online tools. Be aware that some only give the dealer cost. They DO need (and deserve) to make some profit. If you've done your research and have a pretty good idea where the price should be, you're way ahead of the typical buyer.
IF you just don't want to haggle, there are also online sites that will set you up with a guaranteed price. This is also available through Costco. I'm sure there are plenty of instances where the dealer tried to tack on every dealer-applied option they could, and I have not actually spoken to anyone who has used one of these purchases.
