Hello,
We often see newer 2.0 audi's with some severe oil problems due to the rings. We've been replacing the pistons with JE piston and ring kits. The compression rings and oil control rings on the JE pistons are about twice the size of the stock ones. If I remember correct the oil control ring is 1.4mm on the stock pistons and it is 2.8mm on the JE pistons. With a bore camera you can see the oil on the piston walls with the stock pistons. Bernie
