I am paying $0.18/kWh here in MA. At this price it is cheaper to drive Volt on regular $2.20/gallon gasoline (100mi @ 42mpg is 2.38 gal/100mi or $5.24 per 100 miles) than on electricity (31kWh per 100 mi or $5.58 per 100mi). Even if you live in a state with cheaper electricity the savings are negligible. Not considering the inconvenience of charging it every day.
