Scott, sounds like you got some great replies, but I have to ask why you didn't make this inquiry from your health care provider?
I had a hip replaced some years back and one great piece of advice I got out of it was not to ask your friends "who is a great Dr" or other procedure questions because unless that person is an orthopedic Dr, it's just their opinion. The only ones that really know are other doctors.
Another was if your Dr is unwilling to discuss in detail or answer your questions, it's time to find a new doctor.
My apologies if it appears I'm preaching or have holier than thou attitude.
