Local hangars are 100% full but construction will start on additional buildings this Spring.
Yes, I am very aware of the fire risk. Both planes and cars are filled with combustible liquids and there should be NO activities conducted inside a hangar which use an open flame or produce sparks because of this.
I asked the owner of the Hangars about the FAA ban. Her response is that they are both the Owner and the Host, and they don't see such occupancy as an issue. Maybe because of the nearly identical risks associated with storage of both means of mechanized personal travel apparatus.
