Well, I did it today.... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Mon, 13 Apr 2020 08:03:57 In Reply to: Re: Update: Empty unit inspection...., Craig, Sun, 12 Apr 2020 15:42:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
1) Leased an Airplane Hangar to use as work space to assemble the Quantum-IV.
2) Contacted the current Quantum owner requesting a Sales Agreement at our previously discussed price.
3) Contacted the President of an Ultra-Light Club in OH requesting a Sales Agreement for an incomplete LM-1A Airplane Kit they received as a donation from an Estate.
Now I am in compliance (closer compliance?) with the FAA Guidelines regarding Hangar Use.
Photo is of a completed LM-1A plane, an 85% scale model of a Piper Cub. The incomplete kit is both finished Wings, the landing gear, the finished Rudder, and the finished Elevators. No fuselage, engine, propeller, or controls. Price was unbelievably low (only $500!) making it a smart move to avoid Hangar eviction, with future re-sale to someone else wanting to do the same thing.
