I cut the cord about a year ago and never looked back. I had Cox internet and cable (no premium channels). It was costing me aboput $160/mo. I cancelled the cable (which was about $100) but kept the internet. I bought a flat over-the-air antenna (approx $30 at Walmart) for local channels, Sling for my "basic" cable channels ($35/mo), and a ROKU box ($25). Other than the one-tinme fees for the antenna and the ROKU box, i'm paying approx $95/month (internet and Sling) - saving over $100/mo. There are a lot more channels streaming than there was with cable. Very happy I did this!
