Saab always did such a great job of making their cargo areas so useful.
From the c900, to the 9000 (hatch), to the NG900/9-3 hatch, to the 9-5 wagons, they always carried things so well. More than once, I've had better luck using the 9-5 wagon (or a Saab hatchback) to carry things than most medium sized SUVs.
I just picked up a BMW 530XiT (wagon). It's rear area is big, but not 9-5 big... I think it has something to do with a rear drivetrain that the Saabs did without.
