Long as we're talking about SUVs, check out the linked WSJ article with a headline about "poor scores" for SUVs. Far be it from me to say anything nice about about the behemoths, but it does seem rather stupid for the govt to rate trucks on the same scale on which they rate cars. I mean, hello; they're **TRUCKS**.
Mineta's first official act as Transp Secty should be to mandate some common sense around there.
His second should be to put the Congress on notice that they need to start spending the gas tax $$ instead of impounding them to mask the deficit. But I seem to be drifting off topic here . . .
