OK, this is starting to stray way off topic, but I just couldn't let this post pass unaddressed. The statement that Bush is a businessman at heart is a scary one - if true than his heart is in worse shape than Cheney's. GWB has NEVER been responsible for a business success. He ran an oil company into the ground, until a group of daddy's friends bailed him out with a sweetheart buyout deal. They, in turn, were able to make the company quite successful. The other big "success" story GWB often claims is the Texas Rangers. There are several flaws with GWB claiming the Rangers as a success. First, he was a figurehead "owner". He actually "owned" less than 1% of the team IIRC. In any case, his share was well under 50%. Second, this is the same Rangers team that, despite throwing huge amounts of money at players, never even went to the World Series, let alone win one. Third, the business success of the Rangers that allowed them to be sold for a huge windfall profit was almost solely the result of a public investment in building a new stadium for the team and then turning over almost all revenues from the stadium to the team in the lease deal.
GWB may be a lot of things, but he's certainly no one that any thinking human being should be taking business advice from.
