Are the Arc and vector (Aero) available in Europe? What caused the delays in bringing this car to market? Probably GM delays in getting the platform together. Yes, the NG900 was a change for the worse, the 9-3 a great improvement that should have come in '96. The 9-3ss should have come around in 2000.
Lets face it, Saab is (was) a nitch player. It takes time to transform a low volume producer into a GM brand megolith well placed within GM's global marketing plan. However, this is the best Saab I've driven and I plan on buying one next year. The purchase decision has less to do with it being a Saab than with it beating its closest European competion, the Audi A4 1.8. That being said, I have not driven the G35. That may change my mind.
