1. Useless excuse.

2. I've heard of people getting let off because of bathroom emergencies. No human being is a stranger to bathroom emergencies, so if it were the case, you should have mentioned it. There is a chance for some sympathy, but it is of course, not guaranteed.

3. Wind has no effect. Radio waves are not affected by windspeed.

4. Radar usually shows the faster of the cars if the other variables are similar. If a big metal 18-wheeler was speeding beside you, the prevailing signal would have been from that. But unless the cop was an idiot, they'd know who they were getting the return from, and unless you looked like a drug dealing or drunk troublemaker, they'd have pulled over the truck. I've been speeding with a truck before, been instant on'd and the cop pulled the big truck over.

5. If the police lights were on, I would not be afraid to slow down.
Driving with your blinker for 1/4 mile+ looking for a good place to pull over is not a bad thing. The police like safe spots to pull over even more so than you do because they have to step out of the car.

6. I doubt this would be helpful.
