Today I got a speeding ticket...90 mph in a 55 mph. Not sure if I was doing 90 or not, thats what officer claimed he got me at. (It sounded about right to me although could really have been more like 80-85, but I did not want to see the radar).

Anyway, here are some circumstances, tell me if you think I have a case at all. Individually I don't think any point below would get me off, but maybe together they would.

1. I was very late for a class, and unaware of my speed.
2. I had a diahrea attack and wanted to get to the end of the highway, to the strip, to find someplace to go. I was in alot of pain.
3. Was very windy, wind gusts to ~40 mph. Currently am researching the effect of wind on radar readings.
4. Was a car ahead of me and next to me, could have gotten them instead, mistaking the reading for me.
5. This stupid highway has no shoulder, just a curb and some grass. Since its a highway, I can't slow down much to pull over...so I had to hit that curb pretty fast when getting onto the grass to pull over, possibly damaging my suspension. This highway really isn't a good place to do speed checks.
6. In 5 years of driving I have no prior violations, and feel that in light of this plus the above points, I should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Hearing is not for like 6 months hehe, so I have time.
What do you guy's think?
