No bad choices here. My vote goes to the Aero. The 9-5 line has a proven reliability and durability history, what Consumer Reports says is the only above average European car. The 9-3SS will be good too, but the 9-5 is a proven winner. I'm a traditional Saab guy, '96 900SE and '93 900S Convertible, so I like the traditional more colorful, simpler, more familiar, instrument and dash layout of the 9-5. 250hp ain't bad either! Why wait for an Arc or Vector with 210hp when 250hp is availible now? Even with the sport suspension and 17" wheels the Aero still rides great. And the fuel economy is excellent too. And Saab has much better programs on the 9-5 line than the 9-3, as you pointed out, and Aero goes for about what a Vector will.
