Why not a 9-5 Aero Wagon? If you're into the outdoors the additional cargo capacity of the wagon is absolutely the way to go. I race sailboats across the Southern Gulf Coast and between the roof rack of the wagon and the added cargo space with the back seat down I can haul anything I need or want to.
And don't be fooled into thinking that "because it's a wagon it won't handle." Aero wagons are reknown for their remarkable handling similarity to the Aero sedan. I'm sure Sports Car Specialists will give you a week end test drive... you'll be pleasantly surprised and amazed at how much cargo the wagon can handle without seeming like you're towing a tank behind you. At least test drive the Aero sedan before you blow 35-40K on the 330. As time goes by, you'll appreciate the extra room and the continued high level of performance the Aero offers. Last, but not least, I'm sure you "double date" or "go to the game" with pals. The Aero (sedan or especially the Wagon) will get you all their with smiles on your faces. I doubt any of the choices you outlined will be as comfortable as an Aero.
One last thought. I'm 46 now and throughout my 20's & 30's I drove 2 door sport coupes. Great if you're alone or there's only one other person in the car (male or female). But whenever there would be three or more of us going somewhere, we took someone else's 4 door sedan or SUV. That made me very uncomfortable because I'm a DRIVER not a passenger. If you're a DRIVER you want the car that everyone will fit into comfortalby. That's the AERO (sedan or wagon).
Enjoy your future purchase (AEROAEROAERO)and I wish you continued success in the New Year!
