Well, at least Nissan doesn't go around killing their customers and trying to cover it up for a decade, so they've got that over the much quieter GM entries. Maybe GM adds a lot of sound deadening to their cars so the owners won't accidentally overhear their secrets. Nissan should incorporate that into their advertising - "GM cars - ask yourself what you're not hearing, then buy a noisy Juke."
There is a lot more to cars than ease of entry and coffin-like silence. Some people like hearing what's going on outside, some people spend more time driving that get in and out. The day I find myself drawing parallels between my living room and my car ("I love the view" is right up there) is the day I put a bullet between my eyes. Or get a bus pass. Same difference. In the interim, jot my name down in the "Enjoys visceral experiences" column and keep your bank vault anonamobiles out of my way. Enjoy quietness in your house. Roads are for driving.
PS: Citing autoblog and Motor Trend is like citing Fox News. You'd be better off using a Jump to Conclusions mat.
