I suppose I sound too negative, though I don't really mean to be *that* negative... I do think it looks ugly, but I guess to each his own... interesting that the upper lights are turn signals. I guess it makes sense, but the proportions are quite unusual. I guess they have to be bigger where there is only 1 vs 2 eg on a sedan or whatever, you have turn lights and side turn lights (we call them "bike lights")... So if I put fog lights on a Juke... I could have a 6 eyed frog!

I guess it is true that some find the c900 ugly. I don't think the populace thinks the same though of newer Saabs (eg 9-5) - they just don't know much about them or think they fail easily and would rather own a Civic or a Beemer... I don't find the c900 good looking in quite the way a pure sports car like a Ferrari, or 911, or Koenigsegg might be considered good looking... but I don't find a 3 series, Merc, Civic, or even Alfa Romeo to be Ferrari good looking either (and to me, the "modern" Saabs fit in just fine next to a Merc or Beemer)... sports cars are inherently head turners whereas practical cars can't really do that to the same extent due to the proportions of the form... That said, there is a kind of timelessness to the c900, and I regularly get complements even on my winter beater c900 (some young asian kid at a gas station: "woah! what kind of car is that!?!")... I actually think it looks better than the 9-5, but it is somewhat polarizing (imho the SPG is iconic for SAAB like the 911 is to Porsche)... I'm not sure that the Juke or Aztek will ever really have that kind of reaction... but that doesn't necessarily make them bad vehicles... the basic concept of the Juke might not be bad... but I think some European designers might have been able to make it look a little less garish!
