Who cares if I spend time here or not? I'm not here to lie.

The pure and simiple fact is that it is EASY to make big power out of a Honda Civic. Go to Honda-tech.com and read up.

Is it cheap? No, not always. Can it be done on a budget? Yes, Reliably? Depending on the motor, YES.

You don't have to believe that you can "reliably get more than ~200 hp" out of a 1.6 Honda. But it's true. Seen it with my own eyes.

I own a number of Saabs and have owned a number more. Wouldn't drive anything else. Some are fast and modified, some are stock cars with maybe 100 horsepower on a downhill with a tailwind. I ain't here to thumb my nose. I am here to tell you that it doesn't *always* take a lot of money, knowledge or skill to, yes, reliably, get big power from a Honda. Mod'd K motors are making BIG power. Hell, the new Civic Si makes nearly 200 out of the box.

Take some time to read up on what other people are doing with other brands. Saab is great - but they are not magical, not magically fast, and not the only cars out there that take well to some extra boost without lots of cash outlay.

You don't have to believe anything - but if you get dusted by a turbo'd Civic driven by a guy with a thin wallet and ghetto-fabbed engine, oh, wait, that's not possible, you say...
