In your first post, you say that you installed new calipers - did you really find new calipers or just refurbish your existing ones (or purchase some refurbished ones)?

If refurbished, and especially if painted/powder coated, make sure that the brake body assembly (the main part of the caliper with the piston in it) is able to rotate slightly against the support bracket, pivoting around the hinge pin at the bottom of the assembly. Unlike most other calipers I've seen, the V4 disc calipers rely on pivoting the caliper as the pads wear to keep the piston flat against the pads (hence the weird, angled surface of the pads themselves).

You don't want it to be super easy to pivot, but it should be movable. But perhaps it is able to move as the piston compresses but not return to a neutral position.

Or, as you suspect, it could be a sticking piston, which is probably more likely. It just seems like that shouldn't be a problem if the caliper piston was rebuilt.
