My second thought was about the rotors, and were they the correct thickness? But you bring up a good point that the pistons may not be retracting properly. I believe the gaskets are designed to slightly retract the pistons as the pistons don’t slide in the gaskets, but are attached to a groove in the pistons. Is it possible to ask the manufacturer of the pistons what could be going on? The pressure in the brakes lines also has to be released when not braking but if it wasn’t you would think the rear drum brakes would also be dragging. I hope someone might have some experience with these brakes and offer an opinion.
