I thought it would be interesting to test the OnStar remote unlock feature to see how it worked.

I called the OnStar Center from my office and was told it would take about 5-10 minutes, but when I heard nothing from them and the car was still locked 30 minutes later, I called back and was then told that the remote unlock and the remote diagnostics features do not work with SAABs.

There was no explanation why this didn't work and they confirmed that in spite of these features being unavailable, the fee was still the same.

Does this sound right? Well, maybe not *right*, but at least par for the course with OnStar and SAABs? Are there other "features" that don't work as well?
