There were some recent posts on this. They're probably off the first page by now.
Aside from the obvious (I love the car) this little point actually makes me laugh: the way the interior lights go down gradually when you start the car (show about to begin) and come up gradually when the show's over. Saab should call them house lights.
They should get the key off the center console. This is no longer functional in this age of electronic keys and alarms. It was originally put there to lock the car in reverse as an antitheft measure. My new car (2002 Arc Wagon) suffers badly by comparison to my 1986 9000T for storage in and around the front seat.
Biggest complaint: My rear seat has the active restraint headrests. Even after I put them down, I can't get the rear seat folded down flat. I'm only 5' 11" and think there should be enough room for both me and the rear seat folded. I don't see any provision to swing the headrests down, just to lower them to the top of the seat. Am I missing something?
I respect the traditionalists, but this is my 4th Saab and my first V6. It's a fine combination of torque and smoothness, so I think progress is just fine in this case.
Still waiting for a slippery deserted parking lot to test ESP. Will report.
Bring back hatchbacks. Am I all alone out here?
