I think what 2Slow is refering to is the ESP system.
Not to over-complicate the physics of it all, YAW is the movement of an object around its central axis - when a car skids, it is a YAW movement - the same can be achieved in an aircraft by use of the rudder causing the aircraft to slip to one or other side around its central axis while continuing a predominantly forward motion.
The ESP system in the new 2002 Saabs attempt to adjust any YAW (skidding) of the vehicle by the electronic management of the tsc, abs and power output of the engine to correct the vehicles trajectory onto its "normal path". It really does work - believe me - we have it on an Audi TT quattro and it is superb.
