I don't pretend that my car repair guys are Saab experts, but in nine years of their maintaining my 9-5, they've always known exactly what to do and have been very fair to me. Admittedly, my 9-5 hasn't needed much work — the only major repair was replacing the throttle body in 2011 — but I felt secure with them until yesterday.
They are, for sure, real human beings (as opposed to jerks), so I'll take your response to them on Monday and see what they say.
