....it´s waste of many (and fuel) if you put sandbags in trunk. That´s what BMW driver´s do :) It´s almost impossible to get Saab´s rear end out of control and that´s good thing.
My advice for winter driving (living in Finland, 3-4 months snow and even more ice every year):
-reduce speed
-brake earlier
-DON`T accelerate on corners (otherwise you go straight)
-smoother steering style
-if you have to make fast (emergency) turn, clutch down and turn weels slightly. Not brake and wheels in extreme position
-clean up windows from snow and ice BEFORE driving, not while driving with cars heater :))
