Monroney=MSRP=List Price=Sticker...are all terms that refer to the total price including the shipping/destination charge and options that are on the factory window sticker of the car, but not the total including tax and license, etc. The factory window sticker for any given car is the same everywhere in the US because of a federal law sponsored by a fellow named Monroney, so it's sometimes called the "Monroney" or the Monroney label/sticker.
Often folks will read the window label and see only the top line or the "base price", before any options and destination charge which is $720 this year for Saab. To say the the base price, the top line before options and destination, is also the MSRP, is a little deceptive.
Cars come with invoices and on Saab invoices are a couple of relevant figures labeled thusly. "Dealer Net", this is generally considered to be the figure known as "invoice" as in "I'll sell you this car for $100 over invoice". "Invoice" or dealer net is not the dealers actual purchase price for the vehicle as the invoice contains gives the dealer a small cushion to cover expenses called the holdback.
Additionally and very relevant lately are the terms GM Supplier and GM Employee. The GM Supplier price is just slightly above invoice. The GM Employee price, which is what "Everyone" is getting as in the GM Employee Price for Everyone is way under invoice.
Seperate from this are any applicable incentives/rebates. So as an example a basic 9-3 has a base price of $26,850, a destination/freight charge of $720, that makes the MSRP=ListPrice=Sticker=Monroney $27,570, the invoice or dealer net is $26,430, the GM Supplier Price is $26,658, and the GM Employee Price is $25,181. Right now a 9-3 has an incentive of $2,000 so when you get the GM Employee Price for Everyone you pay $25,181 less the $2,000 rebate or your "net cost" is $23,181, which is what you'll find on SaabUSA.com when you click on the GM Employee Price box on the bottom. Got all that?
