I'd run them (new) on the front.
I'm still looking for a shop to mount my 11 yr old yoko Guardex snows - it's snowing more in Denver than up north I've heard. I did a web search and found a method for mounting tires sans a machine - but I don't have an extra set of wheels.
I just had new Michelins Primacy's put on both 9-5s they seem ok in the snow , big problem with the 9-5s is ground clearance.
OK - you are a bike rider - rode over the head of a nail, wasted my tire and punctured both sides of thorn tube. Should I :
- buy toughies (liners)
- stick with thorn tubes
- buy a $ 55 Continental tires as the hotdogs in the shop tell me that with good tires they never get punctures.
I just got 8 Michelins for $ 82 per tire - so doubt that I'll spend $ 55 for a measly bike tire.
