put the new ones on the front. Most of the time you're driving on pavement in the winter and they'll wear down just fine. Probably this winter.
OTOH, if you want to burn through the old WRs, stick them up front. That'd make the most sense as the G2s will wear less on the back. Depending on how much you drive and how much snow you get, it might be a season or two before you wear them down the point of replacement, though. Remember, tires usually wear a bit slower as they age.
